Kirby Smart joined the media this afternoon and talked about his QB decision from last week and more.
The media had a chance to speak with Kirby Smart today as they are in the midst of week four in fall camp. He talked about his decision to name Carson Beck as the starting quarterback and more.
Georgia Football Injury Report 8/23
- Earnest Greene suffered an ankle injury during the second scrimmage, Smart said he's back to 50% during practice.
- Raylen Wilson Hyperextended his knee and hasn't returned to practice to this point.
- Branson Robinson ruptured his patela tendon, out for the season
- Kendall Milton - Taking more reps, not 100%.
- Kamari Lassiter (Foot) - Lassiter returned to practice during observations on Tuesday but was in a non-contact jersey as a full participant during individual periods.
- Joenel Aguero (Hamstring) - Smart said Aguero has a grade 1 hamstring strain.
- Earnest Greene (ankle) - Rolled an ankle during the scrimmage, and returned but did not finish practice according to Smart.
- Smael Mondon (Foot) - Has not participated in full contact periods this fall camp. "Smael is back running but hasn't been a full participant."
