Injury Report: Georgia Without Star Defensive End, Mykel Williams
The No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs are playing host to the UAB Blazers. Entering the game, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart noted that this was the most banged up his football team had ever been since he took the head coaching job in December of 2015.
It was a banged-up unit that suffered even more questions about the roster as starting defensive end Mykel Wiliams has not been seen on the sideline or in warmup for this contest.
The injury has no been disclosed. This article will be updated as further information comes in. There are rumblings in the press box that perhaps Williams is suffering from an illness.
UPDATE: The ESPN television broadcast noted that Mykel Williams is indeed out today with an illness.
