Earlier this week, NFL teams were forced to cut their roster size from 90 players to a 53-man roster. On the first 53-man roster that teams have released ahead of their 2023 season, there were a total of 50 Georgia players who made it past the initial cut.

In total, 25 of the 32 NFL teams are the home of a former Bulldog, such as the Tennessee Titans, who listed WR Kearis Jackson to their initial 53-man roster after signing with them as an undrafted free agent. The experience of the Bulldogs in the NFL extends past Kirby Smart's era, with players from Mark Richt's era still in the NFL, such as Leonard Floyd

A part of this news clarifies the roles that some of the rookies will play this year. Recently, the Rams cut Brett Rypien, making Stetson Bennett the only QB behind Matthew Stafford and his backup. Although not every Georgia player eligible to sign with an NFL team is actively on a team, the Dawgs are still well-represented across the league. Here's a full breakdown of which former Bulldog is on your favorite team.
