Jalen Carter Wanted to Be Like LeBron James During Sunday Night Football Win

Philadelphia Eagles rookie DT Jalen Carter gave the media an all-time response to a question asked following his team's win Sunday Night.

During week seven of the NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins faced off in a battle of the former teammates between Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa in Sunday Night Football. With a statement win from the Eagles over the Dolphins, 34-17, the numerous Georgia players for the Eagles each played a vital role in the game.

Each player from Georgia recorded at least one stat in last night's game, but Jalen Carter had what was likely the most hilarious moment of the game. During the game, Carter was playing through the whistle with a Dolphins offensive lineman and was thrown to the ground and drew a penalty against Miami. The play took over the social media world, having fans wondering if the Eagles first-rounder flopped on the play.

After finishing the game with one tackle and capturing memories with his fellow UGA alumnus, Carter was asked by reporters what his thought process was during the play - and gave the perfect response to what was going through his mind stating, "I was just thinking about LeBron! I was like like 'what would LeBron do?'"

If you are a follower of the NBA, then you know that one of LeBron's many nicknames, outside of "King James" and "LeGOAT," is the nickname "LeFlop." Many of James' haters will say that on many of his great plays, he flopped to draw a foul and earn another possession for his team. Though it isn't the case all the time, there are plenty of plays you can pull up of James flopping that can perfectly exemplify what Carter did. Who could really blame him for doing this if it is an advantage for his team, and defenses attack him like he is still in South Beach, flying past defenders with D-Wade and Chris Bosh?

Carter is gaining the league's attention early into his rookie season, just like James did when he entered the NBA in 2003, and has continued to do. Alongside Carter, Nakobe Dean had three tackles, Nolan Smith had two tackles and a sack, Jordan Davis had two tackles and half a sack, Kelee Ringo had a tackle, and D'Andre Swift had 15 carries for 62 yards to lead the Eagles past Channing Tindall and the Dolphins. This week, the Georgia Bulldogs will be taking on the Florida Gators
