Former Bulldogs Featured in "Eagles Unscripted" Video
Over the past two NFL Drafts, the Philadelphia Eagles have acquired a handful of former Georgia Bulldogs. So much so, that Georgia Bulldog fans have begun using the nickname "PhillyDawgs" when referencing the NFL team.
Since many of the new Eagles players shared the field together during college, the Eagles decided to produce a video that displays the connection the five former Bulldogs share. The video follows Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Kelee Ringo, Jalen Carter, and Nolan Smith at both a dinner table and during practice as they reminisce on their times as a Bulldog and share their experiences with their newfound team.
Throughout the video, the players relieve historic moments from their college careers, ask each other questions about the upcoming season, and even poke a little fun at each other as best friends would. The word "brotherhood" becomes a major emphasis as the video goes on and the five players truly display their fondness for each other on and off the field.
The 5 players' "brotherhood" is almost undoubtedly a direct result of their time with Georgia Football head coach Kirby Smart. Over the years, Smart has stated that he and his players have emphasized building connections with each other and understanding each person's "why".
Smart and his 2023 roster will likely rely on these connections as they begin their quest for a third straight title. The Bulldogs' 2023 season will begin when they host the UT-Martin Skyhawks in Athens. Kickoff for this matchup is currently set for 6 p.m.
