Saturday night did not play out well for the Georgia Bulldogs. After taking a 2-0 lead in the 3rd, thanks to a Maxwell lead-off homer, and a Schunk RBI, Florida State quickly recovered. The Seminoles knotted the game up in the 3rd, and took a 5-2 lead in the 4th.

Georgia's ace pitcher, Emerson Hancock, gave up a season high five runs through four innings.

The Dawgs will now play for the lives heading into Sunday.

Game 5: #1 Georgia vs #2 Florida Atlantic: Sunday, 12 p.m.

This will be a win-or-go-home situation for both teams. If the Dawgs can bring in some steady pitching and get the bats going like they did on Friday, they should be able to earn a rematch against Florida State.

The probable pitchers have not been set for this game.

Game 6: #1 Georgia/#2 Florida Atlantic vs #3 Florida State: Sunday, 6 p.m.

The stakes will begin to raise in Game 6.

The Game 5 winner, hypothetically thinking the Dawgs are in this spot, will match up against the 2-0 Florida State Seminoles. A Seminole win moves them on to the next round. However, if the Game 5 winner takes this game, a Game 7 will be need to be played.

Game 7 (if necessary): #1 Georgia/#2 Florida Atlantic vs #3 Florida State: Monday, 4 p.m.

Game 7 of the Athens Regional will be a winner-take-all game.

The winner of this game will get a spot in the Super Regionals.
