Where Will Peyton Woodyard Commit?

Peyton Woodyard made an announcement that he will make a decision on where he will play school this Saturday. But where will it be?

Peyton Woodyard, a 4 star safety prospect will make his commitment this Saturday at the Adidas All-America Bowl. The Bellflower, California native has narrowed his choices down to 7 schools. Florida, USC, Texas, Oregon, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Georgia.

Woodyard's decision has not been an easy one he stated. In fact, Woodyard said that he has "gone back and forth a few different times" throughout his recruitment but is excited and ready to make his decision.

Though the decision has been a difficult one, Woodyard stated that once he commits; he will be fully committed to the school he chooses.

"Once I commit, that's going to be it for me. I'm not one of those guys who plans to commit but still take visits and listen to other colleges." Woodyard told 247sports. "Once I lock in my decision, that's going to be it and I'm looking forward to being able to just focus on football, training and getting better so I can make an impact early on in college."

Originally, the 4-star planned on announcing his commitment around June (which would've been the time of his birthday) but decided to announce his commitment during the All-America Bowl was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

There's been plenty of movement in this recruitment and it seems as we near the end of it two teams stand above the rest, Texas and Georgia. The combination of Kirby Smart, Will Muschamp, and Fran Brown, however, lends us to lean toward the Dawgs for this uber-talented west coast safety. Should he commit, he will be the 7th addition to the Dawgs 2024 class which currently ranks 3rd in the nation.
