2020 UGA Recruiting: Tank Bigsby will make his commitment August 9th.

Cartavious "Tank" Bigsby is the #1 running back from the state of Georgia. He's set his commitment date for August 9th. What are UGA's chances?

Cartavious "Tank" Bigsby is the #1 running back from the state of Georgia in the 2020 recruiting class. And though UGA received a commitment announcement from 5-star running back, Kendall Milton last week, Tank is still a target.

Tank or Zachary Evans would be the perfect counter-attack alongside Kendall Milton in Athens. Milton is the pro-style, big-bodied bruiser that runs downhill whereas Bigsby & Evans are more elusive and blessed with housecall speed.

Both are targets for UGA, obviously, Evans would presumably be priority number one, however. And perhaps that is a good thing because we here at The Bulldog Maven don't really see Tank's announcement on August 9th going our way.

Cartavious "Tank" Bigsby is the 4th highest rated player from Georgia in 2020

Our very own Brent Wilson said, "I think Tank winds up at Auburn because he will have the chance to be the feature back in an offense that's looking to replenish talent. We've seen what good backs have been able to do there, he will ball out at Auburn.

As for me, I think it's going to end up being Auburn as well. He's taken SIX visits to Auburn since February of this year, including three of them in June alone. Whereas he's yet to take a visit to UGA at all.

However, if Kirby Smart gets wind their chances of landing #1 running back, Zach Evans, are slimming he could pursue Bigsby much more aggressively.

Bigsby is the best back in GA.

He would be a huge addition to the Auburn recruiting class, launching them from the 12th spot up to #6.

Bigsby would be a great piece for Georgia as well, and I don't want to say we wouldn't take him, but I have a pretty good feeling about the future of Zachary Evans being in Athens.

And you should too...
