BREAKING: Ellis Robinson IV Commits to Georgia
Georgia's impressive 2024 class just got even better. Ellis Robinson, the number 1 CB in the nation according to 247Sports, has committed to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs. Robinson hails from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Robinson transferred from Iona Prep (NY) to IMG Academy prior to last season. After a fantastic season at IMG, Robinson began to emerge as the best CB prospect in the 2024 recruiting class.
Robinson checks all of the physical boxes for UGA. Long, fast, and physical. However, he is also a smooth and fundamentally sound operator at CB that plays with tremendous awareness and body control.
Robinson has picked up over 30 offers during his recruitment. Alabama was viewed as the biggest threat to Georgia down the stretch.
With his commitment, Georgia will further strengthen their top-ranked 2024 class. Robinson will join Peyton Woodyard and Jaylen Heyward at DB for the Dawgs. As it stands today, Robinson is the highest-rated commit in UGAs 2024 class.
Georgia defensive backs coach Fran Brown has developed a strong relationship with Robinson, having gone to see the young corner play against Pheonix City this fall as well as having had Robinson on campus this year as well. He was in Athens for the Championship Parade as well as coming to campus during the season as well for the Tennessee matchup.
