BREAKING: NiTareon Tuggle Commits to Georgia

WR NiTareon Tuggle, a 3-star prospect out of Nappanee, Indiana, has committed to the University of Georgia.

In recent years, Georgia has made a concerted effort to upgrade its talent at wide receiver, bringing a bevy of top prospects into the program from both the high school ranks and the transfer portal. Those efforts continued on Tuesday as the Bulldogs gained the commitment of another talented wideout.

Wide receiver NiTareon Tuggle has seen his recruitment explode this spring, but Tuesday he made the decision to commit to the University of Georgia. Tuggle visited Athens for the Bulldogs’ first spring scrimmage on April 1 and clearly liked what he saw.

On tape, the 6-foot-3, 198-pound receiver demonstrates impressive fluidity and elusiveness for his size, high-level speed, and strong ball skills. His elite playmaking ability had been on full display during his high school career as he totaled 1,417 yards receiving and 22 touchdowns on 78 receptions during his sophomore and junior seasons at Northwood High School in Nappanee, Indiana.

Tuggle is currently a 3-star prospect ranked as the 65th best receiver in the country according to the 247 composite rankings, but that ranking is at odds with an offer list that includes the likes of Georgia, Michigan, Texas A&M, Florida, and Miami among other high profile power five programs, and now a committable offer from the two-time defending champion Georgia Bulldogs.

Tuggle is the third wide receiver to secure a spot in Georgia’s 2024 recruiting class, joining top-100 prospect Ny Carr and Sacovie White. He becomes the 12th commitment in Georgia’s top-ranked 2024 recruiting class.
