2020 UGA Recruiting: Kendall Milton Sets Decision Date, Trending UGA
If their family were rock stars, maybe they'd be called something like "The Milton Band". In terms of football, the Milton family are rock stars, and they just got back from being on tour. Now, the lead member, Kendall Milton, has made his decision, and he'll announce it publicly this month.
"The Milton Band" finished up four official visits to Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, and Alabama almost a week ago. While getting VIP experiences at some of the nation's top football programs would be fun, it is also an exhausting time. Kendall's father, Chris Milton, was definitely more than glad to return home.
While Mr. Chris Milton tried to relax a bit, Kendall wasted no time getting back to the grind. His work ethic is exactly what is needed to be a successful running back.
The work ethic is going to make him an elite running back at the college level one day, regardless of which school he chooses. Milton told 247sports that he would be committing on July 29th. And now, experts are starting to pile on their predictions. Good news for Georgia fans, all of the recent predictions have Milton committing to Georgia.
Prior to today, there were five logged "crystal ball" predictions for Kendall Milton to Georgia. Since Milton's announcement on Sunday, 3 new "crystal balls" have added to the trend. One of them came from Steve Wiltfong, the director of football recruiting on 247sports.
50% of the "crystal ball" predictions now have Milton going to Georgia.
While there weren't any new forecasts, 8 experts on Rivals have already put in forecasts for Kendall Milton to UGA, making it 100% Georgia.
Greg Biggins of 247sports received some insight on what Milton likes about Georgia.
“I like their tradition for not only producing great running backs in college but then getting those guys out to the NFL and having a lot of success there. Dell McGee is a great RB coach and his resume speaks for itself. He’s known as one of the best RB coaches around and we have a great relationship. I want to go where I can get developed and I know that would be a great fit.”
It's also worth paying attention to who Kendall has tweeted about recently. The other day, Milton stood up for former Georgia DB, Deandre Baker, for buying his mom a new set of wheels.
A couple of days before that, he also retweeted Georgia commit, Marcus Rosemy's commitment tweet. He also recently retweeted one of Nolan Smith's tweets.
With an announcement insight, Georgia fans should be aware. "The Milton Band" could be taking their show to Athens very soon.
