2020 UGA Recruiting: Predicting Georgia's Full 2020 Recruiting Class
It shouldn't be earth-shattering news that Georgia is among the best in recruiting, again. With only fourteen commitments so far, Georgia currently has the 6th best-recruiting class per 247sports.
But, it is only July, folks. Georgia still has plenty of room to add more prospects while teams like Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State are almost full. By no means should anyone be in panic mode. In fact, Georgia's worst-case scenario would most likely be a Top-3 class.
With it only being July, a lot can still happen. Georgia could gain commits from recruits that most think they don't even have a chance with. Or, Georgia could see recruits de-commit and head elsewhere.
It's nearly impossible to predict exactly who Georgia will sign come National Signing Day. That's because the schools and the recruits do a pretty good job of keeping the recruiting information discrete. But, that doesn't mean we can't speculate and create a 2020 "mock" recruiting class.
And that is exactly what I have for you today.

If Georgia were to sign this class, they would be given a 247sports "team score" of 323.14. That's beyond good enough for a chance at the #1 overall class. In fact, Alabama had a team score of 317.50 in 2019, and that was with 27 commitments. This mock class only has 24 commitments, so that should tell you about the amount of potential talent in this class.
However, it is important to note that it is very early in the recruiting cycle, and a lot can still happen. Would you have believed me if I told you Jadon Haselwood would enroll at Oklahoma, and George Pickens would flip his commitment to Georgia at this time last year?
Anything can happen in the world of recruiting.
