ACC Baseball Tournament Field Is Set. Who Will Georgia Tech Face?
The 2023 ACC Tournament field has been officially set and the pool play has been determined.
Georgia Tech will be the 11th seed in this year's ACC Tournament and will be in pool B, which includes Virginia and North Carolina.
Georgia Tech had a disappointing final series to the season and was swept by Virginia. The Yellow Jackets will likely need a deep run this week in Durham to have any hope of making the NCAA Tournament.
The team with the best record in the pool will advance to the semifinals. If teams are tied at the completion of pool play, the team with the highest seed in the pool will advance.
Tech has a combined 1-5 record against the Tar Heels and Cavaliers this season.
The two teams that were left out of this year's tournament field were Louisville and Florida State. Pitt was the last team to sneak in.
It has been a disappointing campaign for the Yellow Jackets this season, but they have an offense capable of winning games this week and surprising some people.
