Updated ACC Baseball Standings (4/14)
Another week of ACC Baseball is in the books and there were just a few changes this week.
Georgia Tech had one of the better weeks in the ACC by taking two of three from No. 16 Virginia Tech and the offense was electric for the Yellow Jackets over the past few days. They now have series wins over NC State and Virginia Tech, but another big series awaits next week vs Virginia.
Clemson and North Carolina remain the class of the conference, but the Tigers dropped two of three games vs NC State this past weekend, while the Tar Heels swept a terrible Notre Dame team. North Carolina will have a challenging series vs NC State next week while Clemson gets to play Pitt.
Florida State swept rival Miami this weekend and remains in second place in the Atlantic, three games ahead of the Wolfpack. Wake Forest picked up a series win over Boston College and Louisville dropped two of three vs Virginia. The Cavalier's offense was unstoppable in the series vs the Cardinals.
Duke took advantage of a series against Pitt and is tied with Virginia for the division lead.
There are more big series coming up next week. NC State will face North Carolina, Virginia vs Georgia Tech, Florida State vs Wake Forest, and Duke vs Virginia Tech. Those series are opportunities for those teams to move up and cause a shakeup in the standings.
