2025 Athlete Mason McKnight Announces He Will Visit Georgia Tech This Weekend
Georgia Tech is coming off of a successful Junior Day this past weekend and they are going to be hosting more top targets and prospects this weekend for another Junior Day.
One of those prospects is going to be 2025 athlete Mason McKnight, who announced on social media today that he is going to be at Georgia Tech this weekend. McKnight does not have a Georgia Tech offer yet, but he is an intriguing prospect and someone who I think is in store for a big senior season.
McKnight is a 6'3 190 LBS athlete who plays at Northgate High School in Newnan, Georgia. He has offers from Florida Atlantic and Mississippi State.
One of the prospects that was there last weekend was 2026 five star wide receiver Aaron Gregory and our own Najeh Wilkins caught up with him to talk about his visit to Georgia Tech and what he thought of the program:
“I want to work on my footwork. I like to go to the slot and outside. If I am in the slot, there is going to be someone down, so I know I want to work on my footwork a lot. Of course, getting faster because if you get off the line and you blow past them, there is nothing they can’t do anything after that. You are beat, so those two things definitely,” said Gregory.
Gregory has 32 offers from notable programs including Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, and more. Gregory has also been invited to major national camps in the spring and plans to attend the Under Armour Camp in February here in Atlanta. So far in 2024, he has visited Tennessee and now Georgia Tech.
“I think the campus is great. It will be even better after everything finishes being built.” I liked talking to Coach Crawford and Coach Key, looking forward to more visits. Definitely coming back in the spring,” said Gregory.
You may be thinking what Gregory is referring to. He is referring to the future expansion that Georgia Tech has put into place including a weight room and new facilities being built on campus. It certainly has been a priority and something the Tech staff has mentioned to their recruits throughout their visits on campus.
