2026 LB CJ Gamble Talks His Recent Visit To Georgia Tech's Spring Practice
CJ Gamble is a name that is currently flying under the radar at the linebacker position, but likely not for too much longer.
Gamble is a big-body linebacker that plays the game with a lot of force but is as nimble as a yogi. Much like the new-age prototypical linebacker, he's very versatile. This past season at Carrollton he lined up primarily at the dawg backer position but took snaps at edge as well.
No surprise that Georgia Tech's defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci has an interest in him.
Gamble shared his thoughts on if he could fit in Coach Santucci's defense.
"Yes, I definitely think I would fit right into Santucci’s defense. Everything that their linebackers do is similar to what we are doing at Carrollton," he said.
Thoughts On Visit To Spring Practice
Thursday afternoon Georgia Tech opened their spring practice to recruits to come check out the sights and sounds of how things roll at the flats, and Gamble stated it was a great all-around experience.
"It was a great all around experience. Everyone had energy from the meetings to practice. The coaches and staff were really involved and welcoming and I would love to be back sometime," he relayed.
He also gave his opinion of how the coaches ran the practice.
"The coaches at GT have many years of experience. By the way, they coach, I can tell that they know what it takes to get to the next level and succeed."
Yesterday, Georgia Tech received their second commitment for the 2025 class.
Grady Adamson, a 6'1 205 LBS quarterback prospect, committed to the Yellow Jackets yesterday, becoming their second prospect in the 2025 class. Adamson plays at Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, and he also had offers from BYU, Syracuse, USF, Pitt, and Boston College.
