Three-Star Running Back Trelain Maddox Officially Signs with Georgia Tech

Maddox has been committed to Georgia Tech since June

Running back Trelain Maddox has been committed to Georgia Tech since June and now he has officially signed with the Yellow Jackets. He committed to the Yellow Jackets over Rutgers and Kentucky.

Maddox plays at nearby Parkview High School and the 6'1 205 LBs prospect had a really solid senior season and is an intriguing prospect for the future. Other offers that Maddox had include UConn, Colorado, Duke, FAU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Missouri, Penn State, and Ole Miss, among others. 

According to the 247Sports Composite, Maddox is a three-star player and the No. 1015 player in the country, the No. 85 athlete, and the No. 119 player in the state of Georgia. 

A multi-sport athlete that also wrestles and competes in track and field events. Attended Buford (Ga.) prior to his junior season.High jumped 5-10 and 5-8 multiple times during junior track and field season in Spring 2023. Logged multiple 6-0 high jumps as a sophomore in Spring 2022.Ran a 12.11 100 and 25.44 200 as a freshman in Spring 2021. Hit 5-8 in the high jump multiple times as well (Per 247Sports).
