Georgia Tech has made another addition through the transfer portal, this time on the defensive line. 

Furman Transfer Jack Barton announced on social media today that he is committed to Georgia Tech. He becomes the 7th transfer to commit to Georgia Tech and the first defensive lineman. 

Georgia Tech has lost a number of defensive linemen to the portal, including leading pass rusher Kyle Kennard, who committed to South Carolina. Etinosa Reuben, Ezra Odinjor, Malcolm Pugh, Bryston Dixon, and Jason Moore have all entered the portal as well.

Georgia Tech has made six other impactful transfer additions over the past couple of weeks. 

On Sunday, Rhode Island cornerback Syeed Gibbs committed to Georgia Tech. Gibbs totaled 52 tackles, three tackles for loss, six pass breakups, and three interceptions this season. He has three years of eligibility remaining

Tennesse cornerback Warren Burrell, Louisville linebacker Jackson Hamilton, MTSU offensive lineman Keylan Rutledge, Yale tight end Jackson Hawes, and Mississippis State tight end Ryland Goede have all committed to Georgia Tech.
