According to the 247Sports Composite, Young is the No. 508 player in the country, the No. 72 overall wide receiver, and the No. 13 player in the state of Louisiana. Other offers that Young has include Houston, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others.
