For the final time this season, it is game week for Georgia Tech.

For the first time since 2018, Georgia Tech is going to be playing in a bowl game and they are going to be playing a familiar opponent. Georgia Tech and UCF are not rivals, but this is going to be the third time they have played in the last four years. UCF won in Atlanta in 2020 and in Orlando last season. Both games were with Geoff Collins as the head coach and this is going to be the first time that Brent Key will coach against a school he coached at from 2005-2015. There are plenty of headlines, but none should be about the depth chart for Georgia Tech going into this game.

At quarterback, Georgia Tech is starting one of the ACC's best in Haynes King. King is one of only two players in the nation with at least 2,700 passing yards, 600 rushing yards, 25 touchdown passes, and five touchdown runs this season (joining LSU’s Jayden Daniels), and one of only six ACC players to achieve those numbers in a regular season since 2000. He led the ACC in touchdown passes and was fourth in passing yards. Georgia Tech had one of the biggest offensive turnarounds in the country and King is one of the big reasons why.

Georgia Tech fans should be used to seeing the running back position have three guys listed with an "or" designation beside it and that is what is happening this week. Dontae Smith, Jamal Haynes, and Trey Cooley are all listed. This has been the case for much of the season, but look for Haynes and Smith to get the majority of the carries.

At wide receiver, Malik Rutherford is listed as the starter at the "F" Receiver, either Abdul Janneh or Dominick Blaylock at the "X" receiver, and either Eric Singleton Jr or Chase Lane is the starter at the "Z" receiver. This has been the case for this season and you can expect Singleton, Rutherford, and Blaylock to be the top three receivers.

Dylan Leonard is listed as the starter at tight end, but look for Luke Benson and Brett Seither to get snaps as well.

The offensive line has no changes listed. Ethan Mackenny, Joe Fusile, Weston Franklin, Connor Scaglione, and Jordan Williams are listed as the starters.

On the defensive line, Makius Scott, Zeek Biggers D'Quan Douse, and Kevin Harris are listed as the starters.

Paul Moala and Trenilyas Tatum are listed as the starting linebackers.

Myles Sims and Ahmari Harvey are listed as the starting cornerbacks, while K.J. Wallace is listed as the starting nickelback.

LaMiles Brooks is listed as the starting strong safety, while Jaylon King or Clayton Powell-Lee will be the starter at free safety. Aidan Birr is listed as the starting kicker and David Shanahan is the starting punter.

Georgia Tech vs UCF kicks off at 6:30 on ESPN this Friday from Tampa.
