After entering the transfer portal in December, linebacker Trenilyas has decided to withdraw his name and return to Georgia Tech.

This is pretty big news for Georgia Tech. They are losing Paul Moala, Andre White Jr, Braelen Oliver, and Ashton Heflin at the linebacker position and they were going to need to address it in the portal. They have added Georgia transfer E.J. Lightsey and Louisville transfer Jackson Hamilton to go alongside returning linebacker Kyle Efford.

Tatum is an experienced player and has shown flashes during his time at Tech. Getting him back is a good thing and he should be able to provide depth at the position.

Tatum is not the first player to enter the portal and decide to return to Georgia Tech. Running back Jamie Felix also decided to return to Atlanta after entering the portal.
