Taking a Look at the Player Props for Georgia Tech vs Georgia

Can Georgia Tech pull off an upset tomorrow vs No. 1 Georgia?

Georgia Tech and Georgia are going to meet at Bobby Dodd Stadium tomorrow night and the Yellow Jackets are going to be looking to get a win over the Bulldogs for the first time since 2016. It has been a lopsided rivalry since then, but Georgia Tech has a winning record going into this game and an offense that is among the ACC" 's best.

The offense is likely going to have to have a monster day against one of the nation's top defenses. Georgia Tech is 6th in the ACC in passing yards per game and 4th in points per game. True freshman receiver Eric Singleton Jr has been one of the top freshmen in the country and one of the most explosive. He is King's top target this season and that should not change tomorrow night.

When you take a look at PrizePicks for player props tomorrow, they are only currently listing two for the entire game and they are for both King and Singleton:

1. QB Haynes King: Over/under 166.5 passing yards

2. WR Eric Singleton Jr: Over/Under 52.5 receiving yards

If it were me, I think the over on both of those are both viable picks. If you think Georgia Tech can keep this game close, then I would presume that both players have had to have big games and go over this total. Even if you think Georgia dominates the game tomorrow, it is possible that Georgia Tech has to spend a lot of time throwing the football trying to catch up and both players hit their overs. Either way, I would pick the over, but I am not an expert by any means.

When talking with the media earlier this week, Key was asked if, as a Tech alum, how lopsided the rivalry has gotten in recent years bothered him and he was pretty honest about how he felt about it:

"To answer the first part of your question, you are damn right it does. Yeah it does. Rivalries are not one-sided, rivalries are competitive games between two games, that is what makes rivalries great, this is hands down one of the greatest rivalries in the country. Well, in order for that to be the case, outside of our scope, it needs to be competitive. That is on us, that is on us at Georgia Tech to be able to go out and compete for four quarters in a football game.As far as selling it to the team, we have another opportunity to play another game and our rival. If you have to do that, you have to have ice water running through your veins."

We will see on Saturday night if these Yellow Jackets have what it takes to hang close with the top team in the country.
