Adam Morrison on Gonzaga's keys to beating Saint Mary's: 'You have to play at your pace'

Morrison breaks down the Bulldogs' biggest game of the season on the latest episode of The Perimeter

The contrast in styles between the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Saint Mary's Gaels couldn't be more stark.

The Bulldogs are 56th in the country in adjusted tempo, per KenPom, while the Gaels rank 356th. Gonzaga will look to play with pace and speed up Saint Mary's in their showdown Saturday at the McCarthey Athletic Center. The Gaels, meanwhile, will try to turn it into a half-court game.

Whichever side can dominate the pace and flow of the game will have a major advantage over the other, while both look to control the paint and win the battle on the boards.

Former Gonzaga All-American Adam Morrison broke down Gonzaga's keys to victory against Saint Mary's in a new episode of The Perimeter.

"You have to dominate the inside, then you also have to play at your pace," said Morrison. "It’s going to be paramount that we come out with a lot of energy and play hard."
