Can Gonzaga get back to the Sweet 16? 'They're primed and ready to make some noise in the NCAA Tournament'

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau believes the Zags are poised for another deep tourney run
In this story:

Based on the last month of college basketball, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are not only playing like an NCAA Tournament team, but also a team that could win a few games in the Big Dance as well.

Few teams across the country have been as efficient on offense during Gonzaga's eight-game winning streak that began Feb. 7. Since then, the Bulldogs have posted the best effective field goal percentage (62.1%) and only three teams have a better 2-point field goal percentage in that span.

The latest surge hasn't all come against the lower-level teams in the West Coast Conference. Three impressive Quad 1 road wins over Kentucky, San Francisco and Saint Mary's have the Zags squarely in position to make the NCAA Tournament for the 25th consecutive time regardless of the outcome at the WCC Tournament.

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau breaks down how the Bulldogs could make another extended run in the postseason, and much more, on a new episode of Gonzaga Nation.

“They’ve been in the Sweet 16 in the last eight years," Dickau said. "This looks like a team that could get back to that same spot”
