Roster turnover is at an all-time high in college basketball.

With NIL and the transfer portal prevalent, student-athletes have never been more empowered to stay in the college ranks before going pro. Not only has Gonzaga men's basketball been able to adapt to the new landscape, the Bulldogs have been able to thrive.

The Zags revamped their roster through the transfer portal in the offseason, landing Steele Venters (Eastern Washington), Ryan Nembhard (Creighton) and Graham Ike (Wyoming), all of whom are probable starters from day one. Anton Watson returns to Spokane for his fifth season after he withdrew his name from last summer's NBA Draft. He'll play an even more vital role alongside the newcomers following the departures of Drew Timme and Julian Strawther.

Without the program's go-to guy over the last three seasons, it's time for a new face to step up to the challenge. CBS Sports college basketball analyst Chris Walker breaks down why the new-look Zags are the team he's most excited to watch this season on a new episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
