Could Corey Kispert be traded from the Washington Wizards?

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau believes Kispert could be moved by the Washington Wizards at the NBA trade deadline

Corey Kispert has become one of the NBA's top marksmen from deep early into his professional career. He finished in the league's top-10 for 3-point percentage last season, knocking down 42.6% of his attempts per game, and the 24-year-old is off to a similar pace to begin the 2023-24 season. But with the Washington Wizards in rebuild mode, plenty of contenders could be in line to make a trade for the 3-point sniper.

While coming off the bench for Washington, Kispert is third on the team in scoring at 14.0 points per game and is shooting 42.9% from deep on 7.0 attempts per game. Coupled with his progression as an all-around player on offense, Kispert's team option for the 2024-25 season was picked up by the Wizards on Monday. Though the NBA is a business, and if the right offer from a team with championship aspirations presents itself, there's a chance Kispert's tenure with Washington is shorter than his contract would indicate.

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau breaks down Kispert's future in Washington, as well as Mark Few's coaching legacy, on a mailbag edition of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
