Dan Dickau reacts to Gonzaga's loss at Washington: ‘The game came down to energy and activity on the glass’

Huskies' persistence on the boards and hustle stand out from win over the Bulldogs

For the first time all season, the No. 10 Gonzaga Bulldogs were arguably out-hustled by their opponent.

Aside from second-half shooting woes, rebounding and hustle plays were a factor in the Zags' (7-2) loss on the road to the Washington Huskies on Saturday. Washington outrebounded Gonzaga 36-28, marking the first time Mark Few's team lost the battle on the boards in a game this season. Credit to the Huskies' frontcourt, though an apparent lack of energy on the part of the Bulldogs seemed to have an impact in the 78-73 loss.

Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau broke down how the Huskies were able to upset the Bulldogs in a new episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
