Dan Dickau's keys to victory for Gonzaga vs. Washington: 'If Gonzaga can dominate the glass, that will be an advantage'

Outside shooting and rebounding will be key for Bulldogs against the Huskies, according to former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau

The No. 7 Gonzaga Bulldogs face their first true road test of the season against a much-improved Washington Huskies team on Saturday.

For the Zags (7-1) picking up their 17th-straight win over the Pac-12 could come down to their ability to hit outside shots and win the rebounding battle, according to former Gonzaga All-American and Washington guard Dan Dickau.

Gonzaga is third in the nation averaging 46.1 rebounds as a team, with a +15.3 average margin over its opponents. Anton Watson and Graham Ike spearhead the rebounding efforts, as each average 8.1 boards.

Shooting 35.5% from deep on the season, the Bulldogs have knocked down 22-of-46 attempts from 3-point range over their last two outings. Conversely, the Huskies have held their opponents to 28.5% on outside shots, though their last two opponents shot a combined 45% on 3-point attempts.

Dickau previewed the Bulldogs-Huskies matchup on a new episode of Gonzaga Nation.
