Adams Jr. committed to BYU on Saturday, announcing his latest college destination on social media.
The California native transferred to Gonzaga on July 22 after initially signing with Kansas. Adams Jr. will need to be released from his scholarship by Gonzaga and receive a transfer waiver from the NCAA to be eligible to play his freshman season.
Adams averaged 28.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 27 games last season for Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California. He scored at least 40 points in three outings, including a 50-point, 21-rebound performance in an 84-68 victory over San Pedro on January 11.
