The Zags and Wildcats faced off in the second year of a six-year home-and-home series

The Gonzaga men's basketball team traveled across the country and upset the No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats 89-85 on Saturday in a college basketball matchup with NCAA Tournament implications.

The Bulldogs entered the game firmly on the postseason bubble according to the latest ESPN Bracketology projections. The win over Kentucky is the Zags' first Quad 1 win of the season.

Graham Ike led Gonzaga with 23 points and Ben Gregg scored 14 points and made several huge hustle plays.
