Gonzaga must let Santa Clara know 'they're out for business' in rematch at The Kennel

Bulldogs look to avenge their loss to the Broncos earlier this season in pivotal WCC clash

Despite not many positive takeaways from the game, the turning point for the Gonzaga Bulldogs this season was arguably their 77-76 loss at Santa Clara in early January.

Gonzaga shot a woeful 2-of-20 from 3-point range and were outrebounded 44-31 by the Broncos, who stole a victory away in the final seconds courtesy of a game-winning floater from Adama Bal.

Since then, the Bulldogs (21-6, 11-2 WCC) have won 10 of their last 11 games, shot 30% or better from deep in eight of those games, made at least six 3-pointers in nine games and shot better than 50% from the field in eight of those games. Those benchmarks have been key for Gonzaga this season - the Zags are undefeated when they shoot above 30% from downtown or 50% from the field.

Mark Few's team will look to continue its hot stretch on offense in a rematch against the Broncos on Saturday at the McCarthey Athletic Center. Former Gonzaga All-American Dan Dickau and Gonzaga Nation reporter Cole Forsman broke down Gonzaga's keys to victory on senior night and much more on an episode of Gonzaga Nation.
