The future of the Gonzaga Bulldogs' backcourt is at stake on Friday night when Trent Perry, a four-star high school basketball recruit in the 2024 class, makes his college decision.

Per ESPN's Paul Biancardi, Perry will decide among Gonzaga, Colorado, Oregon, Stanford, TCU and USC at halftime of the 7:45 PM PST Top Flight Invite on ESPN+.

The 6-foot-4, 175-pound guard is a consensus top-60 player in the 2024 class across all major recruiting databases. He's a top-10 point guard according to ESPN and On3.com, while Rivals.com has him at No. 12.

Perry has taken official visits with all of his finalists except for Gonzaga, which offered him a scholarship in late September. According to 247Sports, Perry's most recent visit was to Stanford on Sept. 30, a week after his second visit to Colorado on Sept. 23. USC and Oregon hosted Perry on trips over the summer before he took a trip to Fort Worth, Texas, to see TCU's campus on Sept. 2.

Heading into his anticipated decision, the Trojans appear to be the favorites to land Perry's commitment. 247Sports' Crystal Ball gives USC a 100% chance based on expert Travis Branham, who has correctly predicted the decisions of 16 recruits in the 2024 class thus far. On3.com also gives the Trojans the best odds, though it doesn't rule out the possibilities of Stanford and Colorado.

Perry, who's high school teammates at Harvard-Westlake (California) with class of 2025 target Nik Khamenia, is one of Gonzaga's three targets in the 2024 class. The Bulldogs are also pursuing five-star recruits Asa Newell (Montverde Academy) and Zoom Diallo (Prolific Prep), both of whom have visited campus within the last year. Diallo was in attendance for Gonzaga's home win against Portland in January, while Newell visited campus in July.
