Washington 78, Gonzaga 73: Live score recap, highlights
The Washington Huskies upset the No. 7 Gonzaga Bulldogs, 78-73, in the Alaska Airlines Arena on Saturday.
The Zags (7-2) missed 11 of their final 12 field goal attempts over the final 7:17, including three turnovers in the last two minutes. Graham Ike led the way with 18 points, while Nolan Hickman added 17 points in his return to his hometown Seattle. The Bulldogs shot 7-for-27 in the second half and committed nine turnovers.
The Huskies (6-3) snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Bulldogs behind timely baskets from Keion Brooks Jr. and Sahvir Wheeler, who combined to score 12 of the Huskies' final 14 points in the second half. Franck Kepnang made his presence felt defensively with five blocks.
The loss broke Gonzaga's 16-game winning streak against Pac-12 opponents, a run that dated back to the 2014-15 season.

Washington 76, Gonzaga 73 (0:41): Ike's and-one layup broke the seal off the cylinder for the Zags. Brooks Jr. nailed both free throws in the double bonus.
Washington 72, Gonzaga 70 (2:46): Wheeler's layup off the top of the glass gives Washington its first lead since the 19:17 mark in the first half. The Kentucky transfer leads the Huskies with 16 points. The Bulldogs went without points for over four minutes.
Gonzaga 70, Washington 68 (5:40): Watson ended Gonzaga's scoring drought with a pair of free throws.
Gonzaga 66, Washington 66 (8:56): Huskies rattled off a quick 6-0 scoring spurt capped off by a layup from Wheeler, which started from an errant pass by Watson to Ike that was tipped by Kepnang.
Gonzaga 63, Washington 60 (10:59): Brooks Jr. converted Washington's fourth 3-pointer of the half after Watson got a floater to go the possession prior. Five Bulldogs reached double-figures in scoring, paced by Hickman's 17 points.

HALFTIME: Gonzaga 48, Washington 42: Wheeler drilled a step-back jumper over Watson at the buzzer for his second field goal of the game. The Huskies shot 55.2% from the field, though a 2-3 zone defense from Gonzaga helped slow down Washington toward the end of the half. Hickman paced all scorers with 15 points, while Ike and Nembhard had 10 apiece. Kepnang has 12 points at the break.
