Gonzaga's R-Jay Barsh: 'Our guys are starting to walk around with that true Zag swagger right now'

Gonzaga assistant coach Barsh joined the latest episode of Gonzaga Nation

Few college basketball teams are as hot as the Gonzaga Bulldogs are heading into March.

Gonzaga (22-6, 12-2 WCC) rides the momentum of a six-game winning streak into the last week of the West Coast Conference regular season that features pivotal matchups on the road at San Francisco and Saint Mary's.

Even if a shot at the No. 1 seed in the WCC Tournament is out of reach by the time they get to Moraga, California, the Bulldogs can still improve their NCAA Tournament resume - much like they have been since early January. Gonzaga has won 11 of its last 12 games since the loss at Santa Clara on Jan. 11 behind a hot stretch on offense.

Per KenPom, the Bulldogs ranked 33rd in the country in offensive efficiency on Jan. 15. Since then, they're up to No. 10.

“When you have ‘Gonzaga’ on your chest, there is an expectation," Gonzaga assistant coach R-Jay Barsh said on Gonzaga Nation. "And I think in that expectation comes confidence. ... Our guys are starting to walk around with that true Zag swagger right now."

Barsh broke down what's been clicking for the Bulldogs as of late and much more on an episode of Gonzaga Nation.
