Gonzaga's starting lineup? Adam Morrison gives his starting 5

Morrison projects what Mark Few's lineup will look like on opening night

It's debatable how much stock should be put into preseason polls and rankings, but there's no clear-cut answer in predicting just how good the Gonzaga Bulldogs can be in the 2023-24 season.

The Zags lost three of their five starters from last season, including the program's all-time leading scorer in Drew Timme. Mark Few leaned heavily on the transfer portal and international recruiting trail to rebuild the roster, and while he landed some big fish in Ryan Nembhard and Graham Ike, it's unknown how all the newcomers will gel with last year's returners in Anton Watson, Nolan Hickman, Ben Gregg and Braden Huff.

Still, Few assembled a deep roster with a lot of talent. It remains to be seen how the pieces fit together, who will lead the squad in scoring and who will get the starting nod at each position once the rotation is finalized, though that hasn't stopped many college basketball analysts and media outlets from ranking the Zags near the top 10 heading into the new season.

Gonzaga men's basketball analyst Adam Morrison breaks down his reaction to the Zags being ranked 11th in the AP Top 25 poll, what's at stake for Gonzaga players in the NBA and more on a new episode of The Perimeter podcast.
