How to watch Gonzaga men's basketball vs. Jackson State
Coming off the second loss in three games, the No. 15 Gonzaga Bulldogs host Jackson State out of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
The Zags (8-3) enter the nonconference matchup after falling to reigning national champion UConn, 76-63, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on Saturday. Gonzaga never led at any point as it shot 39.0% from the field and 2-for-12 from 3-point range. The Huskies (10-1) took advantage of a hot start from distance to lead by double-digits for most of the night, as Donovan Clingan paced with 21 points.
Prior to the loss, the Bulldogs learned they would be without freshman guard Luka Krajnovic after the Croatian broke his hand hours before tipoff. Krajnovic averaged 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 13.6 minutes off the bench.
For the Tigers (4-7), they've won three of their last four games following a 1-6 start to the season. Two of those victories came over the weekend at the HBCU Challenge in Las Vegas, where they beat Howard and North Carolina A&T. Redshirt junior Ken Evans Jr. paces the squad with 17.5 points and 3.2 assists per game.
