How to watch Gonzaga vs. San Francisco in the WCC Tournament Semifinals

No. 9 Gonzaga takes on San Francisco for a spot in the WCC Tournament Championship

After clinching a share of the WCC regular season championship, the No. 9 Gonzaga Bulldogs will now play San Francisco on Monday (March 6) with the winner earning the right to play for the WCC Tournament Championship game Tuesday.

Gonzaga (26-5, 14-2 WCC) earned the No. 2 seed in the WCC Tournament following its 77-68 victory over St. Mary's in the Bulldogs' final conference game of the regular season and will likely face the Gaels in the WCC Championship game once again if they can handle San Francisco. 

Both Gonzaga and St. Mary's earned triple byes in the WCC Tournament and will be playing their first games of the tournament Monday. 

St. Mary's earned the No. 1 seed based on a tiebreaker determined by the NCAA Evaluation Tool and will take on No. 5 seed BYU Monday prior to the Gonzaga vs. San Francisco game. 

The Bulldogs played their final game of the regular season last week, cruising to a 104-65 win over Chicago State. 

Drew Timme notched a team-high 17 points in the win and was just one of seven different Zags players to reach double figures. 

Timme is now just 22 points shy of passing Frank Burgess as Gonzaga's all-time leading scorer.

San Francisco (20-13, 7-9 WCC) knocked off No. 7 seed Pacific in the second round of the tournament and then upset No. 3 seed Santa Clara in the quarterfinals to earn the right to play the Bulldogs for a third time this season. 

Gonzaga barely escaped an upset with a 77-75 victory the first time they played the Dons this season but played much better in the second matchup earning a 99-81 win when the two met again last month. 

Gonzaga is 49-4 against San Francisco under Mark Few and has won the last 26 straight times the two have played.
