Jackson State's Mo Williams on Gonzaga matchup: 'We understand their greatness, but we have no fear'

Tigers will look to throw the Bulldogs out of rhythm when the two programs square off for the first time on Wednesday

Jackson State understands the challenges of going on the road to play high-caliber opponents in hostile environments. The Tigers (4-7) have been traveling throughout the nonconference portion of their 2023-24 schedule, including at Memphis, Missouri, Houston and now, a trip to Spokane to face the No. 15 Gonzaga Bulldogs.

The Zags (8-3) look to bounce back from their loss to No. 5 UConn in Seattle with a home bout against a fearless Jackson State squad that's won three of its last four games. Head coach Mo Williams instructs a balanced offense that likes to play with pace, while creating chaos for the opposition on the defensive end of the floor. Williams, who played 13 seasons in the NBA, is now in his second year at the helm of the Tigers.

Williams previewed the matchup with Gonzaga with former All-American Dan Dickau on a new episode of Gonzaga Nation.
