Look: Clark Kellogg picks Gonzaga Bulldogs to win 2023 NCAA men's basketball national championship
At the conclusion of Sunday's NCAA Tournament Selection Sunday Show on CBS, analyst Clark Kellogg gave the Gonzaga Bulldogs some love.
And he shocked his fellow analysts.
After Seth Davis and Jay Wright both picked the same Final Four matchups - with Davis picking Alabama to win it all and Wright picking Kansas - Kellogg came through with a surprise pick:
The Gonzaga Bulldogs.
"I like the fact they aren't a one-seed like they've been in multiple tournaments in recent years and they've got the kind of team with Drew Timme leading the way that can get it done," said Kellogg. "I like Gonzaga to make it happen as your national champion."
Gonzaga received a No. 3 seed in the West Region and will play No. 14 Grand Canyon in the first round in Denver, Colorado on Friday. If the Zags make it out of the first weekend, they will likely have to beat No. 2 UCLA and No. 1 Kansas to advance to the Final Four.
Kansas will play No. 16 Howard in the first round. The other West Region matchups on this side of the bracket are No. 8 Arkansas vs. No. 9 Illinois, No. 5 Saint Mary's vs. No. 12 VCU and No. 4 UCONN vs. No. 13 Iona.
The other side of the West Region bracket features No. 6 TCU vs. ASU/Nevada play-in winner, No. 3 Gonzaga vs. No. 14 Grand Canyon, No. 7 Northwestern vs. No. 10 Boise State and No. 2 UCLA vs. No. 15 UNC Asheville.
Do you think the Zags have a shot to win it all?
