Talking Zags: Adam Morrison 'disappointed' with Gonzaga's energy in loss at Santa Clara

Morrison broke down how the Bulldogs' slow start put them in a bind for the rest of the game against the Broncos

The Gonzaga Bulldogs had been adept at getting off to fast starts against their opponents for a majority of the season thus far, but in their first road game of West Coast Conference play, it was the opposition that landed the initial blow out of the gate.

En route to a 77-76 victory, Santa Clara dominated Gonzaga in the first half with hustle. The Broncos outrebounded the Bulldogs 27-11 over the first 20 minutes, including nine offensive rebounds that led to 10 second-chance points. The discrepancy on the boards helped Santa Clara lead by as many as 13 points in the first half, an uphill battle that Gonzaga couldn't quite overcome despite having a lead late in the second half.

Former Gonzaga All-Americans Dan Dickau and Adam Morrison broke down the Bulldogs' setback and how they can rebound against San Diego and Pepperdine on a new episode of Talking Zags.
