'The energy's been fantastic': Adam Morrison on The Kennel's atmosphere with Gonzaga students

"The university has done a good job of getting them excited," Morrison said on Talking Zags

It might not be the biggest arena in college basketball, but the McCarthey Athletic Center has proven size does not matter.

The national media have regarded the home of the Gonzaga Bulldogs as one of the best environments in the sport, thanks in large part to the rowdy student section known as The Kennel Club.

From sections 103 to 107 in the lower bowl, 1,200 Gonzaga students make their presence felt starting well before tipoff time. Mark Few has acknowledged their energy and passion for the Bulldogs as a legitimate home-court advantage. That's especially true considering no team in the country had a better home winning percentage over the last five seasons than Gonzaga heading into the 2023-24 season (77-1, 98.7%).

Former All-American Adam Morrison discussed the impact of The Kennel Club in a new episode of Talking Zags.
