Watch: Gonzaga's Anton Watson throws down huge dunk at halftime buzzer
Anton Watson sent the No. 11 Gonzaga Bulldogs into the locker room in style.
As the Zags mounted an overwhelming advantage over the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers, the fifth-year senior and Spokane native put an exclamation point on the first half with a thunderous one-hand dunk as time expired.
Watson jump-started the breakaway finish on his own after he blocked a 3-point attempt from the Mountaineers' AJ Huddleston. As the clock ticked down on the half, Watson grabbed the loose ball and raced up court to slam home the one-hand jam as momentum carried him up into the first few rows of the McCarthey Athletic Center.
The dunk put Gonzaga ahead, 63-30, over Eastern Oregon. Watson led the Zags in scoring in the first half with 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field to go with four rebounds.
