WCC Men’s Basketball Tournament 2023: How to watch live stream, TV channel

The 2023 WCC Men’s Basketball Tournament began Thursday, March 2 and will conclude Tuesday, March 7 with all games being played at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

No. 8 seed Portland defeated No. 9 seed San Diego 92-74 to kick off the action Tuesday followed by No. 7 seed Pacific topping No. 10 Pepperdine 84-71 to wrap up the opening round. The celebrations for both teams were short-lived.

In the second round, No. 5 seed BYU defeated Portland 82-71 and No. 6 seed San Francisco knocked off Pacific 80-63. 

Both BYU and San Francisco kept their momentum rolling in the quarterfinals on Saturday. BYU upset No. 4 seed Loyola Marymount 73-63 and No. 6 San Francisco also pulled off an upset defeating No. 3 seed Santa Clara 93-87. 

The two teams advanced to the tournament semifinals, but that is where their luck ran out. 

No. 1 seed St. Mary's earned a 76-69 victory over BYU, while San Francisco fell to No. 2 seed Gonzaga 84-73. 

After splitting the WCC regular-season title, Gonzaga and St. Mary's will meet once again, this time to decide once and for all who is the outright conference champion.
