Gonzaga vs. UCLA: Will Bulldogs be able to score on Bruins' elite defense?
It will be elite offense vs. elite defense when the Gonzaga Bulldogs and UCLA Bruins meet in the Sweet 16 on Thursday in Las Vegas.
Gonzaga, the No. 3 seed in the West Region, is in the third round of the NCAA Tournament for the eighth consecutive season, thanks in large part to the No. 1 rated offense in all of college basketball. The Bruins, the No. 2 seed in the West, are in the Sweet 16 behind the No. 2 rated defense in the country.
Something has to give on Thursday.
In the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast, former Zags' All-American Dan Dickau analyzes the Gonzaga-UCLA showdown, including how he thinks the Bruins will defend Drew Timme.
