After a foot injury sidelined him early in his debut season, Chet Holmgren spent 11 months recovering and preparing for his return to the NBA.

Now, the former Gonzaga big man is healthy and ready to start making his impact for the Thunder as they begin their Las Vegas 2023 NBA Summer League schedule.

Holmgren and Oklahoma City will get the chance to play either five or six games with all NBA teams playing at least five games in the Las Vegas Summer League.

After each team has played its first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs consisting of a semifinal and championship matchup.

The two teams that advance to the championship will play a sixth and final game.

Holmgren has already played two Summer League games for the Thunder in Salt Lake this year, racking up a double-double in both games.

According to FanDuel, the former No. 2 pick currently has the third-best odds to win 2023-24 NBA Rookie of the Year.
