Watch Julian Strawther and the Denver Nuggets vs. the Utah Jazz in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League on NBA TV Wednesday

Julian Strawther will look to help the Nuggets pick up their first NBA Summer League victory when Denver battles the Utah Jazz in Las Vegas on Wednesday. 

The 29th overall pick in last month's NBA Draft struggled to find his footing offensively in the Nuggets' 98-93 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday., finishing with seven points and shooting just 2-for-13 from the field.

However, Strawther overcame the poor shooting performance by showcasing his defensive tenacity via several big hustle plays such as diving for a ball on the floor and denying a dunk with a two-handed block at the rim (video below).

Through his first two games, he is 6-of-24 from the field with 22 points scored and has registered five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. 

Strawther and the Nuggets will have another opportunity to get in the win column when they take on the Jazz at Cox Pavilion Wednesday night.
