Five-star recruit Isiah Harwell has received an offer from the Gonzaga Bulldogs, according to Verbal Commits. The Wasatch Academy (Utah) guard is the No. 5 ranked recruit in the 2025 class according to 247sports.

At 6-foot-5, Harwell is 247Sports’ No. 1-ranked shooting guard in the class and No. 10 on the ESPN25.

Harwell has also received offers from North Carolina, UCLA, Texas, Kansas, Creighton and several other schools.

Harwell led Wasatch Academy with 16 points in a 58-55 win over Legacy Early College in the NIBC season finale. He averaged 9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1 block per game in 13 games as a sophomore.

Wasatch Academy has been known to develop blue-chip recruits in recent years, including Gonzaga guard Nolan Hickman, the 22nd-ranked player in the class of 2021. BYU’s Fousseyni Traore and Richie Saunders, Baylor’s Caleb Lohner and Santa Clara’s Josip Vrankic are among notable Wasatch alumni.

Harwell, who is from Idaho, played his freshman season at Century High School in Pocatello before transferring to Wasatch Academy last summer.

Harwell is Gonzaga’s first reported target of the 2025 class. Five-star forward Carter Bryant (No. 4 on 247sports) and five-star guard Dedan Thomas (No. 23) are Mark Few’s top targets in the 2024 class.
