Portland Pilots coach Shantay Legans joins the Gonzaga Nation podcast

The Pilots will be hosting NBA G League games next season

University of Portland men's basketball coach Shantay Legans joined Dan Dickau on the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about NIL, the WCC and much more.

The Pilots finished eighth in the WCC standings last season at 5-11 and 14-19 overall. Legans added some much-needed height to the roster in April when he signed 6-foot-10 Lamar University transfer Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams.

In April the Portland Trail Blazers announced they would be launching an NBA G League team that will play its home games at the Chiles Center on the University of Portland campus. Legans goes in-depth on the new G League team on the podcast.
