What does Zoom Diallo's move to Prolific Prep mean for Gonzaga?

Zoom Diallo is heading to California.

After leading Curtis High School to back-to-back Washington Class 4A state championships, Diallo announced on Monday that he will play his senior season at Prolific Prep in Napa, California.

Diallo took an official visit to Gonzaga in January, and has the Zags listed among his top five schools. A 5-star point guard, the 6-foot-4 Diallo is the No. 14 recruit nationally in ESPN.com's rankings for 2024.

So what does his move to Northern California mean for the Zags? 

"I don’t think it necessarily negatively impacts Gonzaga’s chances of landing Zoom Diallo,” said Dan Dickau on the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast.
