The Dons were put to the test in their WCC opener against Pacific, narrowly escaping with a 92-88 overtime win, but found their groove against San Diego, cruising to an 83-63 victory.
Jonathan Mogbo put together a complete performance in the win over San Diego, tallying his team-high eighth double-double of the season with 19 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals.
San Francisco has played well on both sides of the ball this year and is currently second in the WCC in both points scored (78.4 ppg) and points allowed (61.2 ppg).
Portland (7-10, 1-1 WCC) opened up league play with a win at home against Pacific last week but suffered its worst loss of the season on Thursday when the Pilots lost by 43 points at Saint Mary's.
